When a naturally perfect crystal
is formed it is truly one in a million.
Thus is the case for any diamond
that is worthy of being called "Flawless".
Examined under magnification by more than one trained
Gemologist before the declaration is made a flawless
diamond is has been scrutinized closer than most diamonds
will ever be. As with most things with this level of
perfection comes a not so perfect price.
However, when one starts looking
at diamonds on a finger or in a setting of any type
they soon realize that highest level of perfection is
not required to have perfectly beautiful diamond.
Most people find that after
examining a few different diamonds tht they are content
with ones ranging from what we call SI1 to VS1. These
diamonds will contain extremely small particles or irregularities
which bring down the price of the diamond without sacrificing
anything in apparent beauty. The inclusions are so small
and insignificant that they are not detectable by the
naked eye.
The chart to the right shows the
standardized G.I.A. scale that is used throughout the
world today.
The best decision as to which diamond
is right for you can only be made by actually examining
each diamond up close and personally. We encourage you
to compare them in our store in critical and varied
lighting conditions.
