It all starts with an idea. You’ll need a place to gather those ideas together and a good way to communicate them to your designer so go ahead and open a Wish List.
Browse through our website and add any styles you like to your wish list. Upload images you may have already gathered, photos of specific natural, artistic or architectural elements you would like to incorporate, sketches or even little doodles you’ve done. We’ve made more than one ring based on scribbles done on a napkin at a restaurant.
After discussing all the elements of your design we will provide you with an estimate for the finished piece. There are spaces on the Custom Design Page for all the necessary information.

Once you’ve approved the estimate for your design we’ll collect a deposit and get started. We will create a 3D model for you to view online or in our store here in Trolley Square. We can make most changes without any additional cost to you. If you want to make major changes or decide to change to an entirely different concept, of course, the price will be adjusted.
In the next step we will produce a wax model using whichever method best suits the design. Most of the time it will be printed using state of the art 3d stereo lithography printers. Other methods include multi-axis milling machines or carving the wax by hand. You may view this wax model either in the store or it can be sent directly to you. It is an excellent way to visualize what the finished piece will look like and it is what we use to cast the finished piece.
Your design will then be produced in the metal of your choice by our expert craftsmen. It will be cast, polished and set with the diamonds and gemstones personally selected by you. Upon completion it must pass two quality inspections before being delivered to you. This ensures your complete satisfaction with your finished piece of custom jewelry.
